Cardinal Business Equipment (CBE) is a leader in providing innovative Point of Sale solutions to the hospitality & retail industry in St Louis and throughout the Midwest. We are hiring entry-level POS Sales Representatives to prospect for restaurant and retail sales opportunities in and around the St Louis area. We’re looking for a hungry, coachable, and motivated sales professional to join our growing team.

GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:

As a POS Sales Rep your primary role is to prospect for, and close new business. Working with our team of technical professionals, you will build relationships and consult new potential customers to discuss their business challenges and identify and introduce the services and products we offer that are the best overall solutions to their needs.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Prospect for new business via cold calling to potential new clients and introducing them to our products and services
• Gather data about their business and develop comprehensive solutions that meet their needs and budget
• Conduct product demos of our products and payment solutions
• Learn and sell multiple POS platforms
• Help business owners reduce costs and improve operations through better payment solutions

Skills Needed:

• Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with business owners
• Willingness to cold call and learn technical products
• Coachable mindset with strong work ethic
• Comfortable using CRM tools, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams

Pluses 

• 1–2 years of sales, customer service, restaurant, or retail experience
• Restaurant operation experience
